Tuesday, June 25th: Tiring day

milford

This day, i've walked like 2 hours non stop!!!
I went to Milford Sound, a touristic site in the middle of no were!
I've seen WONDERFUL landscapes that I wasn't used to see at all! The concordance between mountains, water, the flora and the fauna was spectacular! I took millions of photos because I didn't want to forget these moments that you can live only once a life!I was really dazzled by all this natural beauty! Don't forget that New Zealand is one of the rare country which isn't totally touched by human activities!

It worth the detour, I swear you!! ;-)

Sunday, June 23th: Colors colors and colors again!

From the first moment you're gonna be in New Zealand, you're immediatly gonna notice the flashy colors which houses are painted with. It will be a radical changement and it will put you into a nice and happy atmosphere!
I also did the market in Nelson's downtown, I've bought a lot of raw wool because it was very cheap!

I must buy a spinning machine now LOL !

Thursday, June 20th: New-Zealand's history

te papa

Visiting museums could be boaring for some people, but it was enriching for my part. I went to the museum of the capital: The New Zealand's National Museum! It was great but to be honest, they were many many tourists so we couldn't see many works of art! I've taken a picture of the Te Papa (the museum) you can see a lot of tourists in this picture!

Negative points: Wellington is a windy city :(

Monday, June 17th: Incredible experience

maori

How can we spend an entire week in New Zealand without see the famous Maori's trib? It was a rewarding experience! I've learnt a lot about pre-European history and Maori's lifestyle and traditions. I've to admit that I had many apprehensions but I was completly wrong because they are so welcoming and they talk English very well. If you wanna see the real New Zealand you have to open yourself to the Maori's culture because the Maoris represent a big part of the population! Don't worry they love having guests and tourists you won't be disappointed! They also made me dance a part of the Hacka, it was very funny lol!

( I went to Rotorua)

After a very long trip, all you wanna do it's visiting the country which you are in!

The first city I visited was Auckland, it's a busy town which is located in the North of New Zealand.

In visting this city I've seen beautiful spots where Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. There was a lot of tourists, indeed i've to admit that it was wonderful because I live in a very rainy city, so it was a great moment!
